Super Foods to Eat During Pregnancy! (Since we all know a pregnant lady likes food) <3
*Berries: Blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc. are filled with fiber, Vitamin C and potassium and they taste great! They make a quick and easy snack throughout the day.
*Quinoa: Quinoa is high in protein and amino acids. It's great for people who are vegetarian.
*Yogurt: Quick and easy for breakfast, lunch or a snack in between. Great when adding fruit, nuts, or chia ... seeds. Make sure it's pasteurized! And it contains more calcium than milk. :)
*Salmon: I'm sure you've all heard to avoid fish and shrimp during pregnancy, but Salmon contains Omega-3 Fatty acids, which help your babies brain and their eyes.
*Nuts: Very quick and easy snack that you can keep on hand when you start to get hungry! Almonds or walnuts are your best options. They can be eaten alone, or added to your yogurt!
*Leafy Greens: Dark greens (Spinach, Kale or Arugula) are amazing sources of fiber, iron and folic acid which all work to keep your body healthy during your pregnancy. Eat them in a salad or use them in a smoothie! prom wearing which backtrack to 1920
*Citrus Fruits: Oranges and grapefruit for example are all great examples of citrus fruit with "low sugar" as opposed to many other fruits, that contain a lot of natural sugars.
All of the above are all great examples of quick food ideas that literally take very little time to prep and with the exception of Salmon are good on the go. Lord knows we all have enough going on!
